Fitzgerald’s Restaurant

There is a restaurant near Eagle River, named Fitzgerald's Restaurant.

I happened to know that the restaurant was named after SS Edmund Fitzgerald, an American Great Lakes freighter that sank in Lake Superior.

More importantly, the food there was really good.

First of all, we tried a beer flight of four different flavors. I am not sure about the names (Please correct me, if I am not right). From left to the right, may be "Zombie Killer","Oberon", "Local's Light", and "Bourbon Evil Urges". The last one has a bitter flavor, and I may not try it next time.

A dish of pork shank. The meat was very soft, and easy to chew. Pork Shank

The last one and the signature one is the Douglass Houghton's Anchor. It includes half rack of ribs, serval pieces of brisket and pulled pork and two sides. This is a typical southern style barbecue. Douglass Houghton's Anchor
